Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Renewal Course

The AHA ACLS Renewal Course is designed for healthcare providers who need to update their certification while strengthening their ability to manage adult cardiac arrest, arrhythmias, stroke, and other cardiovascular emergencies. This course reinforces the importance of high-quality BLS integrated with advanced interventions and emphasizes team interaction and communication during resuscitation.

✅ Requirements

• Current ACLS Card – You must provide a valid copy of your ACLS card.

  • If you do not have a current card, you will be moved to the Initial ACLS Course and charged the difference.

• ACLS Provider Manual (2020 Edition) – Required for all participants.

  • ACLS Provider Manual eBook

    (note: some users experience download issues; please contact AHA directly if you encounter problems).

  • ACLS Provider Manual (Paper)

• Precourse Completion Certificate – Must be a physical copy or emailed prior to class.

  • Issued after you complete the Precourse Self-Assessment, required videos, and survey.

📚 Pre-Class Preparation

• Review the ACLS Provider Manual (2020 edition).

• Complete the Precourse Test and Precourse Work.

• Study the following:

  • Cardiac Rhythms: VFib, VTach, PEA, Asystole, Bradycardia, High-Degree AV Blocks, Sinus Bradycardia, Sinus Tachycardia, SVT

  • ACLS Algorithms

  • ACLS Pharmacology
