BLS Healthcare Provider Course

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course equips healthcare professionals with the essential skills to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. Participants will learn and practice CPR techniques, AED usage, and methods to relieve choking in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. This hands-on training adheres to the American Heart Association® 2020 guidelines and covers care for adults, children, and infants.

Led by experienced instructors, the course also incorporates discussions and scenario-based practice for both in-hospital and out-of-hospital emergency settings.

Intended Audience:

This course is ideal for healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician assistants, medical and nursing students, medical and nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.

AHA Opioid Education for Healthcare Providers is a self-directed, eLearning course is for use by a single student that includes modules such as recognition and treatment of opioid overdose (use of CPR and reversal agents), details of the opioid epidemic and opioid use disorder, pathophysiology of pain and opioids leading to addiction, and managing acute pain with alternative pain management options. No discounts are provided for eLearning.
