The HeartCode® Course offers the opportunity to complete your CPR, ACLS, or PALS certification through an interactive, online platform. Each course is structured to meet the 2020 AHA guidelines and ensures that you learn the most current techniques in life-saving procedures. Key aspects of the HeartCode® courses include:
- HeartCode® BLS: Covers CPR and AED use for healthcare professionals, as well as the recognition of life-threatening emergencies, including choking.
- HeartCode® ACLS: Focuses on advanced life support skills such as recognizing and managing cardiopulmonary arrest, dysrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.
- Once you’ve completed the online portion of the course, you will need to attend a skills session to practice and demonstrate your skills. Upon successful completion of the online course and skills session, you will receive your 2-year certification from the American Heart Association.
Flexible, Convenient, and Accredited – HeartCode® is the perfect option for professionals who want to complete their training on their schedule.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
Your e-learning AHA courses are sent to your email, once you have completed your registration. You are required to have your AHA HEARTCODE Part 1 complete and printed out prior to attending this course.
